World Day for Safety and Health at Work

World Day for Safety and Health at Work –  Stop The Pandemic: Safety And Health At Work Can Save Lives!

This year, the United Nations International Labour Organization (ILO) will utilize the World Day for Safety and Health at Work held on April 28, 2020 to focus on addressing the outbreak of infectious diseases at work, specifically, the COVID-19 pandemic, the adoption of safe practices in workplaces, and the role that occupational safety and health (OSH) services play.

In support of this initiative and to ensure that you are safe at work here are a few helpful tips on how to make your workspace safe:

  • When using cleaning or sanitizing agents it is advisable to refer to the manufacturers.
  • It is always a best practice to wash hands before and after cleaning or sanitizing, wear gloves and a face mask as necessary.
