The day was filled with the feeling of being overwhelmed and annoyed.
The situation seemed to be stifling me, as the thoughts lingered in my head.
Anger, worry, and frustration caused my body to go tense.
Why put myself through this agony?
Why cause my body so much pain?
My face distorted, frown ensued, shoulders inflamed with the rage that engulfed me, now my eyes seemed like misty dew.
Don’t I know better? Have I not withstood such feelings before?
My mind must take over knowing I have the cure.
Why stress the small stuff?
Just shift my emotions!
Physically and mentally walk away, thinking of a better solution.
I stand on the horizon, looking beyond.
Putting things in perspective, recognizing the importance of dusk and dawn.
“Accept the things I cannot change,” repeats in my head.
I focus on a new day, embracing mindfulness instead.
A deep breath brings renewing. I sing and dance to my tune.
Grateful for the ability to stop, and embrace my bloom.
I will celebrate each milestone, as simply as maybe,
For it brings positive energy, reducing anxiety.
I walk into tomorrow with the knowledge of how to stop!
Letting go! Taking control of, the things I thought I could not.
- Let Go! Not everything is in your control.
- Positively shift Your Language and Emotion.
- Physically and Mentally Walk Away from things that bring a negative shift in your sphere. It takes time to think things through.
- Focus on moment by moment, day by day, on a better and brighter future despite the present situation.
- Accept that it is not always possible to change a person or the outcome of a situation. Yet you can change the way you view it and your approach. This gives you the momentum to face challenges and learn resilience as well as positive coping mechanisms.
- Put things into Perspective. It is important in your life and living and how you can contribute to a better you and environment.
- Celebrate each milestone, as small and as simple as it may be. It is all your achievement!
- Dance! Sing! Hum!
- Be Self-aware! Encourage positive energy into your circle.
- Be Grateful! Look at the little things that bring peace and happiness, pleasure, and satisfaction to your life.
- Rejuvenate your mind! Seek to find what holds significant importance in your life.
- MINDFULNESS IS KEY! Analyze yourself and engage in healthy habits, deep breathing, meditation, and serene walks.
- ENGAGE IN HEALTHY PRACTICES – Eat healthy with an occasional cheat without guilt, after all, you are human and it is nice to indulge yourself with control. Sleep is critical for the mind to be in a state that causes balance, thus enhancing the ability to stop stressing the small stuff.
- SMILE! It is unique to you! Some say fake it till you make it. I say that smile will get you through. It will ease the pathway to the situation while calming the nerves that ensued. For a smile is a natural painkiller, stimulating your brain and increasing mood enhancers. Try it and let it benefit you.
