Dr. Chan Katz is also a federal consultant for the Health Resources Service Administration ( HRSA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)/ The Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC).
In 2005, Dr Katz was the recipient of the Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. She has held several senior leadership positions in Federally Qualified Community Health centers and has provided technical assistance to community health centers nationally.
She was the former Chief Dental Officer for Cornell Scott- Hill Health Corporation in New Haven, Connecticut where she led three “multi million dollar” oral health expansion projects from 2005 to 2009 for the underserved residents of New Haven and neighboring areas.
She has a lifetime clinical faculty appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Chan Katz is an active member in the Connecticut State Dental Association, the NYS Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Katz is currently the Dental Administrative Director of a multi million dollar federally qualified community health center, ODA Primary Health Care Network in NYC.
