Nitish Patidar is an Assistant Professor of Management in Health Care Management and Organizational Leadership Department in School of Business at Quinnipiac University. He has more than ten years of experience in the health care industry in several different roles. He has started his career as an intensive care physician back in India. He also worked as an administrator in hospital and faculty in Medical School before moving to the United States. He has earned Masters in Health Administration from the University of Kentucky and Ph.D. in Health Services Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Strategic Management Track.

His research revolves around innovative strategies used by organizations, and performance (quality and financial) of organizations using the innovative strategies. He also works on health informational technology leadership succession planning, operational efficiency, and location-allocation models.

He received an Edgar C. Hayhow Award during the American College of Healthcare Executives’ 60th Congress of Healthcare Leadership in Chicago in 2017 for his research findings.

His research has been published/accepted in Journal of Health Care Management Review, Journal of Healthcare Management, Academy of Management Proceedings, Journal of Nursing Care Quality, Inquiry, International Journal of Health Sciences, Telemedicine and e-Health, and American Journal of Health Promotion.
