As health care facilities that provide same-day surgical care, Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs) are an emerging global trend in the delivery of health care. ASCs can save money, increase efficiency for insurers and patients and provide higher quality, more efficient care.
Do you feel that ASCs can be a lower-cost alternative to hospitals and other outpatient surgical venues? Please share your experiences in using ASCs as patients, or in setting up or working at ASCs as physicians and healthcare professionals.
