In a news segment by the Caribbean Communications Network Limited (CCN), NWRHA General Manager Magda Baksh and Oncology House Officer Dr. Kissoon spoke at length about the NWRHA Be Well TT App and electronic health records. Dr. Kisoon spoke from personal experience as he explained how electronic health records had helped him improve his efficiency. Magda Baksh on the other hand, spoke with a holistic approach towards health care. She highlighted the fact that electronic health records would aid the NWRHA in clinical decision making based on real-time data.

The comprehensive cancer management electronic health records allows patients to manage hospital interactions, and even receive their prescriptions electronically. We hope to see more hospitals getting covered by this system so that it can have a global impact on healthcare in the foreseeable future.
