Ingredients  :  3 cups rolled oats ½ cup sugar ½ cup water 1 Tbsp. cinnamon ½ tsp. nutmeg 1/3 cup oil 2/3 cup pumpkin seeds ½ cup sunflower seeds 2/3 cup walnuts (chopped) - optional 1/3 cup whole almonds 1 cup dates (chopped) - optional ¾ cup raisins Dash of salt

Steps :

Step 1
Make a simple syrup by dissolving ½ cup sugar in ½ cup water and simmering over medium heat till liquid is clear. Allow to cool.

Step 2
Spread pumpkin and sunflower seeds out on baking sheet and bake at 250o F for approximately15 minutes. Do the same for walnuts and almonds on separate sheet.

Step 3
Mix cooled syrup, oil, cinnamon and nutmeg together and coat rolled oats well.

Step 4
Roughly spread oats onto baking sheet and bake at 250o F for approximately 40 minutes. Allow to cool.

Step 5
Combine cooled oat clusters, seeds, and nuts with chopped dates and raisins. Sprinkle with salt and serve.
